I am super excited my first samples came and they came from two sites, Pinchme.com & CrowdTap.com.  I mentioned these sites in an earlier post Legitimate FREE STUFF Websites.

So what do you have to do to get free samples sent to you?  You log on to PinchMe.com and take the surveys to qualify for products that are perfect for you.  Once you fill out your surveys there will be samples released on certain days (see pic).  Once you put together your box it will be shipped to you (at no cost to you).  Open your box, try the products and give them feedback on each product.  What did you like?  What did you use it for?

BzzAgent – Do you like trying new stuff?  Getting free samples? This is a legit company that sends you free samples to try and tell everyone what you think.  They want your honest opinion rather you like it or not!  How it works:  You take a bunch of surveys to qualify and get you rating up.  Then they invite you to the campaign. then you receive free samples and coupons.  You try the product and chat it up on Facebook, twitter etc.You then earn more points and get invited to more campaigns.  So far I have not scored high enough to get a box or any free stuff but I will let you know when I Do! 

Ebates – This is a great site to use if you already shop online a bunch you don’t need to change or do anything different besides signing up!  They even have an extension  you can add to your browser window (safari, firefox & Chrome) so when you are on a website that has a cash back opportunity it pops up and you just have to hit accept!  Its called The Ebates Cash Back Button!  I have already earned $35. I have also downloaded it on my husbands computer so when he orders things I can get $$ too!! swagbucks-rewards

SwagBucks – This one is interesting.  You can do a ton of different activities to earn “SwagBucks” then you trade those swagbucks in for gift cards like for amazon! I have earned one so far!!

PinchMe – Really excited about this one!  You take surveys to qualify for free samples and then they ship you out a box of stuff to try and evaluate.  MY 1st BOX IS ON ITS WAY!!! (I’ll show you when it gets here)

Hey Everyone! I am excited to announce I am going on my second week and I am on target! I am at $255 on day 13.

Week 1 & 2

How I did it:

My first sale was a dinning room table my husband and I redid this past summer. I purchased a 3 piece set (a hutch, a buffet and a dinning room table) from Genesee County Habitat for Humanity ReStore.  I already had a dinning room table so I stripped it and stained it last of course.  I was so excited to find my buffet I was in heaven working on it turning into a shabby chic master piece.  Anyways, after I finished the furniture I wanted for my house I did the table and started to post to sell.  Well winter came along and it is TOOOOO cold for me outside so I kind of forgot about it until our challenge started, so I posted it on craigslist.com.  Within a week I had it sold for $150!

My second week and my sales have nothing to do with furniture.  I teamed up with a couple of ladies and taught an Essential Oil Class.  At the class we taught everyone how amazing oils are, what they can do for you and your family and then we sold products we had made out of our essential oils.  For Christmas I had made lotion bars, healing salve, sleep sticks, and zap a zit sticks.  SOOO I had a lot left over so I really didn’t have to do anything special or spend money on making more.  I had also made travel cases for my essential oils, so I displayed them and sold them made to order for anyone interested.  I did $78 in sales with stuff I had already made.

My last bit of MONEY I made was with swagbucks.com .  I didnt have to spend anything to make money here either!  I took a few surveys while on the couch, typed in a few codes here and there when they popped up on my app.  I had enough points after two weeks to get a $25 gift certificate for Restaurant.com . How perfect is that money for a date night!!

$100 a week EXTRA Challenge

$100 a week

So this year I am making a new kind of new years resolution… $100 a week from cleaning out my closets, bins, boxes, selling things I’ve made and finding other little ways to make a little extra cash.

The rules
I cant count anything that I already receive. (Rent, Paychecks etc)

I don’t have to do exactly $100 every week but if I have one week $50 and another I do $150 that it averages out.

My Plan of Action So Far:

  • Craigslist.com
  • Facebook garage sale sites
  • Etsy Maybe with my crafty stuff on it – I’ll Link my store after I start it
  • Ebates– When ever I shop online I will be sure to use Ebates.  They have this awesome little button that can be added to my browser window so I don’t have to remember to go through their website first.
  • SwagBucks– Looking to waste a little time to earn gift cards and other fun rewards.  Works sort of like ebates when you are shopping, you can download a button for the browser window, take polls, watch videos and more.  Check it out.
